Amal Group has a career opportunity for a results-oriented individual as the Division Manager of Amal Express. The objective of Amal Express is to provide secure, reliable and cost-effective money transfer and remittance services to targeted communities with excellent customer service.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Division Manager is responsible for management of all Amal Express’s activities dealing in the area of money transfers and remittances. The manager will be responsible for product management, business growth of the product across all target regions, managing quality and consistency of client delivery, controlling agent operations and driving delivery of new products. Performance is judged based on the achieving revenue and profit growth, efficient control of agent operations, customer satisfaction, strong working relationships, ability to drive new products and services, strong decision-making authority and ability to meet time constraints.

QUALIFICATIONS

You will be an experienced manager in the financial sector or money transfer industry with a proven track record of delivering results with own initiative and ability to drive the business forward as well as playing an integral role in the taking the business to a new level.

You will have strong educational background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related Business field, with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5-7 years of experience in money transfer industry, particularly at management level. Additionally, the candidate should be able to demonstrate good leadership skills and have a passion for driving results.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Support Services Manager will report to the Group CEO, and will be responsible for supervising the central support services of the Group including: financial control for all Group Companies, conducting treasury operations (banking relationship management, banking facilities arrangement and terms negotiations, budgeting, managing foreign exchange exposures), supervising technology services and management systems and managing human resources function. Performance measures will include: maximizing returns from surplus funds and foreign exchange, minimization of cost and business risk reduction, control of misappropriation of funds and fraud, and internal customer service level.
