waxay muujisay in shirkadda Anadarko Petroleum Corp. ay sahamin ku samaysay
qaybo ay saami shidaal baaris heshiis kula tahay Kenya.
Qaybahaas ay shirkadahu Kenya heshiiska kula galeen waxaa ka mid ah aagga loo
yaqaan BLOCK L5, kaas oo
qiyaas ahaan 3900
Sq Km Gudaha ugu jira Dhulbadeedka aagga Raas Kambooni ee Jamhuriyadda
Soomaaliya.
taagneed." Waxa uu intaas raaciyey "Waxaan kaloo dareemayaa in ay arrinta dabada
ka riixayaan U.K.iyo Fransiiska oo hadda Shirkadohoodu ku mashquulsanyihiin dhul
badeedkaas."Waxaana habboon in arrimahaas lagu baraarujiyo shacabka
Soomaaliyeed.
Ayada oo ay si waadax ah u muuqata in Kenya ay ku xad gudbeyso qarannimada
ummadda Soomaaliyeed, ayaa haddana DFKMG waxay iska indha tireysaa
arrintaas.
Wasiirka
Arrimaha Gudaha iyo Ammniga Qaranka DFKMG Soomaaliya
Cabdisamad
Maxamuud Xasan oo Somalitalk wareysi gaar ah kula yeelatey Hoteel Kempinski
ee Caasimada dalka Jabuuti oo aan weydiiney "dowladda Kiiniya waxay shidaal ka
baareysaa qayb ka mid ah dalka Soomaaliya oo la yiraahdo Block L5, maadaama aad
tahay wasiirkii arrimaha gudaha soomaaliya, arrinkaas maxaad ka leedahay?".
Wasiirku waxaa uu ku jawaabey “run ahaantii arrinta aad sheegayso wali wax xog
ah kama hayo, qaabkeedu wuxuu yahay aad ugama war qabo, waan maqlayey xoogaa
warar is af-dhaafsan, laakiin wax xaqiiqo ah oo aan arrintaas ka hayo ma
jiraan”.
Markii SomaliTalk weydiisey: Haddii uu jiro arrinkaas maadaama aad tahay
wasiirkii arrimaha gudaha maxaad ka leedahay ayaan ku celiyey wasiirka? Wuxuuna
yiri “taasi waxay noqon doontaa, siyaasad guud oo dowladda soomaalida u yaala,
wixii dowladda soomaaliya ka qaadato ayaan ku camal faleynaa, haddii alle
yiraahdo” ayuu jawaabta su’aalihii ku soo koobay Cabdisamad Maxamuud Xasan.
Dhanka kale, Ciidamada gumeysiga Kenya waxay ka gudbeen xad beenaadka NFD
bishii October 16, 2011, ayagoo intii ka dambeysey deggaanada goboladda
Jubooyinka iyo kuwa laolloga ahba ka geystey duqayn isugu jirta madaafiicda
noocyadeeda kala duwan iyo duqayn hawada oo ay ku waxyeeleeyeen shacab
Soomaaliyeed oo aan waxba galabsan.
Dagaalka Kenya ayaa salka ku haya khayraadka xeebta la ollogga ah Raaskambooni
oo ay muddo dheer Kenya ku taameysey sidii ay Soomaalida uga durkin lahayd
aaggaas, ayadoo hore isugu dayday in ay arrintaas ka sharciyaysato xukuumadda
Sheikh Shariif, laakiin ay shacabka Soomaaliyeed iyo xildhibaanada Baarlamaanku
ay gaashaanka u daruureen. Kaddibna ay markaas Kenya adeegsatey cudud militari
oo ay kaga gudubtey xad-beenaadka NFD.
Magaalooyinka Soomaaliyeed ee ay ciidamada Kenya ku jiraan waxaa kamid ah
Raas Kambooni, oo la ollog ah aagga Block L5.
Kenya Prospects Excites Anadarko Date: Friday, March 9, 2012
Anadarko Petroleum Corp., previously known for its activities as Algeria’s
number one independent producer, a few years ago branched out into other regions
of Africa. The company is now fully a continental explorer within every region
of the continent. In Kenya the company holds stakes in five blocks off the country’s coast L5,
L7,
L11a, L11b and L12. The company is looking forward to getting down to
exploration on the blocks.
In a recent conversation with Petroleum Africa Anadarko’s VP International
Exploration, Frank Patterson said that two 3D surveys have been acquired and
have already been processed “two months quicker than expected.” Patterson added that the company is currently mapping up a prospect inventory
and is “very excited” about what it sees. In September 2011 Anadarko was joined by French firm Total on the blocks. “We
brought in Total as a partner and recovered back costs as well as some forward
costs. Drilling is likely to begin in late 2012/early 2013, dependent on rig
availability. The program is moving quite well,” he said.

Kenya's search for oil and gas | NAIROBI, (Reuters) | Thu, 02 Feb 2012
Kenya has marked out eight new offshore exploration blocks that it expects
to list in the government gazette by end-February, and France's Total is
negotiating for the rights to one of the blocks, a senior energy ministry
official has said.
LEASED BLOCKS: Anadarko Petroleum and its partners have five blocks in
the Lamu offshore basin - L5, L7, L11A, L11B and L12. The government has
a participating interest of 10 percent in all five blocks. The blocks cover an
area of more than 30,500 square kilometres, in waters 100 to 3,000 metres deep.
New Kenyan Deepwater Blocks on Offer Date: Wednesday,
January 11, 2012
In mid-December Petroleum Africa reported that Kenya planned to demarcate new
blocks offshore its coast. A little more information on those blocks has been
released including the names of some companies that have expressed an interest
in those blocks.
The deepwater blocks, L21 through L28, with water depths between 3,000 meters to
4,000 meters will be demarcated in February and are expected to be appear in a
government gazette shortly thereafter. One of the blocks however is said to have been snagged already by French firm
Total. According to a Bloomberg report, the French firm has signed an interim
production sharing agreement to operate at least one of the areas. Total already
holds stakes in Kenya’s deepwater acreage picking up five blocks operated by
Anadarko Petroleum Corp., blocks L5, L7, L11a, L11b, and L12. Brazilian firm
Petrobras is also said to be in discussions with the government aimed at
investing in some of the new deepwater acreage.
