Garad Khalif Nor has been appointed to become
the new Chief Executive Officer of Tawakal Express in
shareholders’ meeting held on May 25, 2009.
Garad K. Nor who is one of the original
founders of the company brings huge wealth of experience to the
Company. He has been credited for building a strong Tawakal
Express franchise in United States of America where he opened
the first branch location in 2003.
Under the leadership of Garad, the Company
expanded from one branch location in Minnesota to over 40
branches operating in over 20 states in USA. During this short
period he helped the company to strengthen its compliance
procedures to adhere to the strict USA Anti-money Laundering
laws and regulations. Garad is a visionary leader who modernized
the Company internal control procedures, IT systems and
strategic partners relationship. He is expected to build on
these successes to lead the Company to greater heights.
Garad holds our customers as the most
valuable tool in our success and always believes in customer
satisfaction as the core competency to compete on to create
loyal customers. While Garad believes in expanding our company’s
