We, Somali Women Organization in Ohio, would like to express our utmost appreciation and gratitude to the people of Djibouti and their government for facilitating ongoing peace process in Arta, Djibouti. Special thanks goes to the President of Djibouti, H.E. Ismail Omar Guelleh for his endless effort to support Somalia.

Somalis learnt their mistakes

Somalis learnt their mistakes, to seek revenge, hate, and continue to lament past is not constructive. Only a complete change of heart, positive attitude, and genuine desire forgiveness and reconciliation, can help ongoing peace process. Thus; Somalis should take this precious opportunity offered by Djibouti very seriously.

We, Somali women in Diaspora, are enthusiastically waiting the outcome as well as conclusion of Somali peace conference. We also urge Somali women to play prominent roles and continue their constructive influence in rebuilding civil society.
